Conscious, handmade clothing that brings artisanal cultures and traditional textiles together. Committed to conservation of artisanal legacies through exceptional grace and accomplishment.

Conversations That Matter –

Giving back. Partnered with Miracle Foundation to help young girls in orphanages to have an education and better life with our donations.
Partnered with Nai Disha, school for under privileged kids and teach women sewing to create employment for them. We will donate part of our proceeds to the school as well as guide the women to make products that will be sold in El Mirai Global.
Teaching the next generation of designers; designing and execution. Help set up a buying house in Austin that will be run by the students under my guidance. If I don’t do this, there is no one else working on this initiative all over United States.

8finity Bags –
is a socially conscious and ethical fashion brand with roots firmly set in Kolkata, West Bengal. Their products feature handwoven embellishments by the skilled women artisans of Bengal. We use plastic waste, scrap fabric, and Jute to interweave bespoke designs for every product. Through repurposing our products are representative of the fact that we can have an endless product lifeline by rethinking waste! Our brand represents quality, women empowerment, and culture.

Bring Indian textiles and hand-crafted couture to Austin Texas to teach.

Make a historic moment in Austin fashion
El Mirai, an Austin based design-house that specializes in couture embroideries to hold first fashion showcase from India in collaboration with UT Austin.

Our 'Make in India' hearts will flutter.

The presentation will be “the Gateway of India made of ethnic fabrics from different states in India, complete with (of course) a symbolic toran, floral decor and live classical music.
The clothes will stay within the boundaries of El Mirai’s signature feminine aesthetic. This will give UT’s textile students a lifetime of an experience that they won’t get otherwise.

Take University students to India to experience how fabrics are woven, dyed with organic vegetable dyes, and embroideries done by the seasoned artisans.
